J&K UT Cycling Championship which commenced yesterday concluded at M.A. Stadium.About 100 Cyclists from the districts of Jammu, Kathua, Srinagar, Samba, Rajouri, Budgam, Ganderbal and Baramulla participated in the event. In Under-17 and U-19 (Road race) Adil Altaf of Kashmir Harvard Educational institute school bagged Gold and silver medals. The Championship was declared open by Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council in the presence of President J&K UT Cycling Association, Ravinder Singh, Sarwant Singh Gill-Secretary, Ravi Salgotra-Treasurer, Om Parkash, Vikesh Sharma, Gurpreet Singh, Ajay Kumar and Vikas Gupta. The medals and certificates were presented to the winners by Prof (Dr) Ashutosh Sharma, Associate Vice President of Indian Olympic Association who was the chief guest on the concluding function.
